NCTC offers a three week course that was designed specifically to give people intensive hands-on training in fiber optic installation and category 5 & 6 copper cabling, get them certified and qualify them for an entry level position in the telecommunications industry! In addition, the Commercial Sector fiber optic industry (Military, Schools and City) is also growing rapidly.

NCTC can also provide on-site short term training to meet the needs of industry.

NCTC provides technical training in all aspects of the fiber optic media. Graduates receive two certifications. One is by NCTC in Category 5/6 Copper Cabling and the other is by the Fiber Optic Association (FOA) in Fiber Optics.

NCTC has a Job Center on the Internet, only open to NCTC graduates, which provides online job listings and includes job Web sites that deal with telecommunication positions.

Graduates will be qualified to be fiber splicer technicians, fiber installers, data cable technicians, fiber cable assemblers, fiber testers and repairers, and fiber system inspectors. Our curriculum also includes category 5/6 copper and telephone installation.
