Financial AidStudent Loans SLM Financial (Sallie Mae) has student loans available with no money down to those who qualify. They will finance for a number of years with no pre payment penalty. Deferred Payments If you apply for a Sallie Mae Student Loan you can request up to 12 months deferred payments. The monthly payment amount would be $10.00 per month for the first 12 months. National Communications Training Centers, thru SLM Financial, is now offering student loans to pay for all or part of your tuition. The process is simple and can be accomplished in just a few minutes by applying online. Sometimes you will know almost instantly if you are approved. To qualify for the SLM loan you do need good credit and a source of income. If you are unemployed and don’t have a source of income, you can save up to $1,000.00 in interest if you apply with a co-borrower that has good credit and a source of income.
